Re-thinking online classifieds in today’s social media landscape.

Facebook Marketplace wants you to find your next apartment, sell your couch, find a job or a puppy at the same place where you keep in touch with your friends.

Cohere came up with a design concept that underscored the personal nature of each listing and captured the personal narrative behind each item within your social network. Buying or selling to someone you know, or someone you have a common connection with provides peace of mind for both parties.

The design focuses on visual browsing, with specific details presented only after a user has made a connection with a product.

Category-specific browsing and contact interfaces were constructed to provide the right tools for particular verticals.

Additional support was provided for business seller tools, and mobile app support.
